Sometimes I feel like I’m living in the Twilight Zone. America has turned its back on the principles of God’s Word, and I truly believe we are reaping the sins our nation has sown. The Bible prophesies that an enemy of God, known as the anti-Christ, will rise up with great charisma and deceitfulness to rule the world, after God’s people are raptured to be with Him in heaven for eternity. God loves His people too much to permit them to endure the sufferings that will come in the seven-year period known as the Tribulation.
President Obama has so many similar characteristics to the ant-Christ that it‘s disturbing. Of course, as much as I disagree with everything he is doing to destroy America as we have known it since its founding, he is not in the same league as the anti-Christ, and I am not implying that he is.
But, Obama has such a strong charisma and magnetism, along with an unusual ability to communicate and mesmerize crowds. Add to that, his deceptiveness during the presidential campaign when he portrayed himself as a moderate who would cut taxes and bring change and hope to the world as he healed relations with other nations. He does, in fact, remind many of what they would anticipate from the anti-Christ. Obama has been called “the One”, the “Obamessiah”, and other rather blasphemous names. There is only one Messiah, and He is the Lord Jesus Christ; His plans are always meant for good, whereas the anti-Christ is like his father, the devil, and he has come to destroy.
What Obama has planned for the United States is much more along the lines of the anti-Christ than Jesus. He is working feverishly to destroy our economy and keep it in crisis-mode so that he is able to bring more areas of the private market under government control. President Obama despises capitalism and wants to cut our nation down to size by punishing achievers who have made themselves successful. Just as the anti-Christ will deceive the world in the future, Obama is deceiving Americans today.
I find it tragic that all of this is happening to the nation I love. Again, we are reaping what we have sown. Too many Americans have pushed God out of our society, and He is so gracious that He is doing what so many have desired Him to do--leave us to ourselves. In doing so, He has removed His blessings and protection from our nation, which in the past was mightily blessed by Him.
Thus, He has allowed Barack Obama, a man who has no respect for godly principles, to be our leader. May God have mercy on us and our country. I pray the damage Obama brings to our country will be minimal, but I fear that will not be the case.

You are truly laughable. To paraphrase:

But, for the rest of my post, I'll explain, in excruciating detail, how what he does reminds many of the anti-Christ. How Obama deceives us just like the anti-Christ deceives us. But I am certainly NOT saying that Obama is the anti-Christ. He just looks a lot like him. And acts like him. And smells like him."
But it was very informative. I, for one, didn't recall that portion of Scripture where Jesus asserted that he was firmly in favor of unfettered capitalism. And the part where He said we should worship those high achievers among us, who have made themselves successful. Guess I have to go back and re-read Paul's Third Letter to the Capitalist Entrepreneurs; it's been awhile.
(By the way, although I worked in the Obama campaign as a volunteer for over six months, I never ONCE heard anyone refer to Obama as the "Obamessiah" or "the One"or anything CLOSE to that. Those terms are, in my experience, always used sarcastically by Rightwingnuts having some fun.
And that's fine. Youdo know who Rightwingnuts are, right? They're the folks who say they "adore" Sarah Palin!
