Naiveté on Steroids

The audacity of naiveté, complements of President Obama. If the president’s foreign policy views weren’t so dangerous, they would be comical.

Read from Gateway Pundit:

Unreal. When Asked About Iranian Nukes Obama Points Finger at the US (Video)

’It's not sufficient for the United States, or France or other members of the nuclear club simply to say all of you have to stop but we're not gonna do anything to change ourselves.’

President Barack Obama
Press Conference with President Sarkozy in France
June 6, 2009

This is frightening.

President Obama responded to questions on Iran's nuke program by pointing his finger at the US:

Video via HotAirPundit who adds this:

In Obama's mind our possession of nuclear weapons is no different that a rogue regime having them, he sees America as some imperial power that has to be cut down to size to match every other country.’

Can we all now agree that we have a very dangerous and naive man in charge of the country?”

Further comments from Israel Matzav:

“And this is AFTER he says that a nuclear Iran would be 'profoundly dangerous.' The guy is living in a dream world!

If nuclear weapons are outlawed, only outlaw states (and terror organizations) will have nuclear weapons. Iran. North Korea. Pakistan. And probably others.”

With the way the United States conducted its foreign policy between 2001 and 2009, it didn't act with much more discretion than a rogue regime.

Why SHOULD we have the temerity to rage against another country having nuclear weapons when we have loads of them and have done little to inspire confidence with smaller nations that we won't use them?
