Lt. Col. Allen West's Powerful Message to Obama

west, lt. col. allen

The great patriot from South Florida, Lt. Col. Allen West, speaks his mind regarding the Iranian protests for freedom from Islamic rule under the mullahs and how President Obama has handled this crisis.

Read from Atlas Shrugs:

Lt Colonel Allen West on the Iranian Revolution: "My message to President Barack Hussein Obama, there is no button to vote 'present' in the Oval Office"

“I have sat and watched the situation in Iran post the fraudulent elections and just shake my head. When I departed Kandahar Afghanistan in late October 2007 my Interpreter/Translator staff asked of me one thing, ‘do not forget us‘. I looked each of those young Men in the eye and gave them my commitment. The covenant was simple, that in my lifetime I would seek to free Afghanistan from the tyranny of mullahs, clerics, imams, and bloodthirsty terrorists.

I never break a promise.

I will not ‘bear witness’ to this demonic display of inhuman treatment and human rights violations. Heck, where is the UN and the world leaders who waste no time in condemning Israel for defending herself against same theocrats and barbaric thugs.

How many of you recall that just a little over 30 years ago, a previous weak, ineffective, effete Democrat president allowed the Ayatollahs to rise to power. Hence resulting in a fleeing of exceptionally gifted Persians and ushering in of a new era of radical Islamic terrorism.

Now, some 30 years later we have a redux of an effete, ineffective President whose nuanced intellectual elite responses offer no support to those desiring Liberty. Indeed, President Obama's apologetic Cairo speech just emboldened the Mad Mullahs and Annoying Ayatollah's, as well as Johnny Jihadi. The theocrats and despotic autocrats who dominate the Islamic world realize they are free to butcher and suppress their own people, young people, who desire one thing.....Freedom.

Imagine if Obama existed in the days of the Soviet Union, Lech Walesa, and Vaclav Havel, would that wall have indeed come down? I know that Obama believes that his mere presence and a teleprompted speech will convince killers to lay down their arms and worship at his feet.

That is the state of delusional malignant narcissism which now occupies 1600 Pennsylvania Ave
.

We must break the power and control of the theocrats if we are to defeat radical Islamic terrorism. We must have leadership that is bold and convicted and not cower being concerned about ‘they will blame me if I meddle‘. The world is watching as America loses respect, but hey, I suppose everyone likes us now.

My message to President Barack Hussein Obama, there is no button to vote ‘present’ in the Oval Office. If you have not the courage to face the enemy, do us a favor, leave the Greatest office in the World and go make speeches, or co-host the Oprah Winfrey Show.

History is indeed repeating itself as the shadow of Sir Neville Chamberlain walks the halls of the White House.

Steadfast and Loyal,
Lieutenant Colonel Allen B West (USA, Ret)

"Yes, when I left Afghanistan, I promised some young people that I would never forget them, and that I would try to free Afghanistan in my lifetime. Now, what that has to do with Iran, I don't really know, 'cept them Muzzies are all over the damn place over there, and one's as bad as another. So free Afghanistan, free Iraq, free Iran, free whoever wears one of them towels around their noggins. Just free 'em.

"And there's only one way to free 'em, I tell ya: blow the hell out of 'em all, and let God sort it out. Yessir, that's the ticket. Take 'em down, take 'em out! And if any pussillanimous pipsqueaks flap their gums about 'Do unto others as you would have them do unto you' or 'Turn the other cheek'? Take 'em out, too. Where do they come up with that liberal nonsense, anyway?

"The ONLY way to get respect in this world is to apply brute force in massive quantities, until those heathen SOBs get the message: we are gonna free your butts, or you're gonna die trying!

"What is with these foreigners and these.... DEMOCRATS who don't understand that WE, the good ole U.S. of A., will decide what's best for everybody in the world. Why? BECAUSE WE CAN! See what happened in I-Ran back in '79 when we let them decide what kind of government they wanted? Here they had a perfectly good Shah, who was a good friend of ours; sold us all the oil we wanted. Now, granted, he killed thousands of his own peoples, had his Savak secret police just pick up people in the middle of the night and, whooooosh, they're gone. I tell ya, THAT'S the way to run a government! Anyway, those stupid Iranians decided they didin't like the Shah, so they ran him outta Dodge and put in some old crazy Muzzie in his place. And he took over our embassy and held our diplomats hostage! How dare he? Just because we used our embassy personnel -- especially Teddy Roosevelt's grandson Kermit, who was one fine sneaky SOB, just ike his grandaddy! -- back in 1953 to stage a military coup, to remove the democratically elected Prime Minister and installed the Shah back on the throne. Cuz there's nothing more American than a good ole fashioned king, I tell ya!

"Here's my plan: launch nukes and turn every square inch of the Middle East (exceptin' Israel, of course) into a parking lot, so's we can be done with this crap once and for all. It worked in Vietnam, right?

"Keep your powder dry, boys! The revolution's right around the corner."

Your opinions that you've vomited up on this blog are laughable, and I can only assume how bored you must be to try to produce so much nonsense - enough for me to have a good laugh with.

If you're not gripping onto your bible to discuss political matters (which is arbitrary because your nation is a secular nation), then you're spreading propaganda and hate. Regardless of which, do you really think the Republic Party is any better? Let's be honest, the most embarrassing thing that the United States has seen in the past decade has been George Bush and the Republican Party. If you think Obama is really all that bad then why did he unanimously defeat the Republican party? Is it because the vast majority of the population are done and finished with the Republican Party and their ultra-conservative, out-of-tune, laughable policies?

"Exposing the lies" is somewhat laughable. In your recent blog entries you said that people were trying to marry their animals, and this is a lie in itself. This is the pot calling the kettle black, I think it is petty of you to distort information to impress the readers of your blog (and no offense or anything, but that can't be too many).

Furthermore, you are out-of-tune with public opinion on these sorts of matters. Holding onto your age-old bible and all of the age-old, out-of-tune garbage that it preaches can't change the fact that modern society just doesn't work like that anymore. 50% of marriages end in divorce, 1 in 2 families break the "sanctity of marriage". Why? Convenience? Perhaps because the word of the bible is just not taken literally anymore.

I hate to break it to you but you are the "kook", and what you've tried to produce on this blog is simply laughable because you're now apart of the small and ever-dwindling minority of people who hold onto their bible and pray that society will conform to the standards and procedures of an out-of-date book of talking snakes and shrimp-hating, slave-loving, hypocritical jokers.

Is it no irony that the era in which the word of the bible dictated the law was called the Dark Ages?

Seriously, get out of your medieval cave, walk into the light and embrace modern day society like the rest of the normal, functioning civilization. I can only feel sorry for you and your cult-like beliefs.

Diogenes, who said anything about going to war over Iran? Have you lost your mind? We are talking about moral support for freedom fighters, nothing more. Oh yes, Obama condemned the actions by the Iranian regime, which was a good thing. But, he didn't offer moral support to the protestors. That's what they are looking for from us as they carry signs written in English. Obama simply does not care about such an important matter as freedom.

Diogenes said...

Oh, please, Ms. Moore.... how naive!

Obama: "Nice going, protesters!"

Protesters: "Thank you, Mr. President. We're going to storm Ahmedinejad's palace now. We were just waiting for some moral support from you!"

Have you not heard what Ahmedinejad is saying about American and other countries interference with Iran's internal affairs, even with as little as was said? The best moral support our government could officially offer was to remain relatively silent. We couldn't claim the election was rigged, because we don't have any facts to back up that assertion; all we have are pretty good hunches.

Maybe that's your blind spot on this issue, Ms. Moore. You're so used to making arguments without any factual basis, you believe that everybody should follow your lead. It doesn't work like that, outside the rightwingnut blogosphere, in the real world.

WHY DO YOU CARE WHAT OTHER COUNTRIES THINK!!!??? WORLD POLITICS IS NOT A POPULARITY CONTEST!!! "other countries look down on us" SOOOOO WHAT?!?!!?!

you liberals are so concerned with public opinion and making everyone happy. shut up already. thats all you ever hear about, public opinion, public opinion. I HAVE NEVER MET ANYONE THAT FILLED OUT A 'PUBLIC OPINION' POLL. NOT ONCE! and for someone so quick to shoot down statistics on every other topic, dont start rattling them off now. if you think conservatives are "war grubbing, beer drinking, rich people" well then i have it in good mind to say you liberals are living in a dream land where the streets of america are like disney's "it's a small world" ride.

yes there are people that want to hurt us over sees, yes we have to keep an eye on them, yes we have to get involved when they act violently, and yes we have a RIGHT TO get involved.

these countries occupy economic interest in the world, from tourism, to raw materials, to oil, to employment of american based companies... so you know what? we have every right to stand on their soil and have an influence

bombing the hell out of a country is ridiculous. they kill more civilians over there than we have through our entire "war on terror" campaign!!! 200 people dead in the last 2 weeks from bombs going off in an area the size of california. the next time a US state records homicides lik... no excuse me GENOCIDE like that, then we'll talk.

what would you do, remove all military presence from around the world? sit on our nice little north american continent and isolate ourselves? while the world tears itself apart? idiots, you all have a distorted sense of america's place in the world. and making people feel happy and making friends and doing what your kindergarten teacher taught you to do, and share and play nice... save all of that for the movies and fairy tales, this is the real world, and there are people that are conspiring overseas right now to harm us.

I agree, world politics isn't about popularity polls. It IS about getting other countries to cooperate with your ideas. When America has to, more or less, go it alone in Iraq, because we've alienated every other country in the world (heck, even Ingland and Australia pulled out on us) then we have a problem that goes far beyond a silly popularity poll.

Now, let's move on to the truly humorous portions of your post:

"yes there are people that want to hurt us over sees, yes we have to keep an eye on them, yes we have to get involved when they act violently, and yes we have a RIGHT TO get involved."

Well, if they're "over sees" of course we should keep an eye on them! But what exactly was the violent act against America or against American interests that gave us a right to invade Iraq? I must have missed the news that day, because I thought the violence occurred AFTER we invaded, no?

"these countries occupy economic interest in the world, from tourism, to raw materials, to oil, to employment of american based companies... so you know what? we have every right to stand on their soil and have an influence"

Wouldn't all sorts of foreign countries be able to make the same statement (well, hopefully a little more comprehensible statement, but you catch my drift) about America? So, by your "logic", do those countries have a right to stand on our soil and have an influence? (By the way, nice word choice, "influence". Sounds so much nicer and more civil than "invasion"!)

As for the only other ption being isolationism, I don't think so. Yes, we need to maintain a military presence overseas. But, see, it's only polite to ASK a foreign country if they would like us to bring a couple of hundred thousand of our troops to dinner in their neighborhood. It's rude and very bad manners just to show up unannounced, uninvited, and unwelcome.

I have no doubt that "there are people that are conspiring overseas right now to harm us". That's why we have our CIA, to keep track of those kind of folks. The problem is, virtually NONE of them lived in Iraq before we invaded.
