I Voted Democrat

Another great email:

I voted Democrat because I love the fact that I can now marry whatever I want. I've decided to marry my horse.

I voted Democrat because I believe oil companies' profits of 4% on a gallon of gas are obscene but the government taxing the same gallon of gas at 15% isn't.

I voted Democrat because I believe the government will do a better job of spending the money I earn than I would.

I voted Democrat because freedom of speech is fine as long as nobody is offended by it.

I voted Democrat because when we pull out of Iraq I trust that the bad guys will stop what they're doing because they now think we're good people.

I voted Democrat because I'm way too irresponsible to own a gun, and I know that my local police are all I need to protect me from murderers and thieves.

I voted Democrat because I believe that people who can't tell us if it will rain on Friday can tell us that the polar ice caps will melt away in ten years if I don't start driving a Prius.

I voted Democrat because I'm not concerned about the slaughter of millions of babies so long as we keep all death row inmates alive.

I voted Democrat because I believe that business should not be allowed to make profits for themselves. They need to break even and give the rest away to the government for redistribution as THEY see fit.

I voted Democrat because I believe liberal judges need to rewrite the Constitution every few days to suit some fringe kooks who would never get their agendas past the voters.

I voted Democrat because my head is so firmly planted up my butt that it is unlikely that I'll ever have another point of view.

Hey, this is a good idea... thanks!

I voted Republican because I know that my heterosexual lifestyle is the only one sanctioned by God, so I am authorized to persecute anyone who disagrees with me, because they’re really trying to disagree with God.

I voted Republican because I believe that Exxon Mobil’s record 2008 profits of $45.2 billion needs to be significantly increased every year, because it’s just too difficult to make ends meet on only $45.2 billion a year.

I voted Republican because I made mine (well, actually my great-grandad made it, but you know what I mean.) Let all those lazy welfare whores get off their fat butts and get a job.

I voted Republican because freedom of speech is fine as long as I get to do all the talking and everyone else has to listen to everything I say.

I voted Republican because I think that America, being the only world superpower, has a God-given right to invade any country we want. And they better appreciate it when we show them what democracy is all about, because if they don’t, we’ll blow their sorry butts to hell and back.

I voted Republican because I know that the Founding Fathers, in drafting the Second Amendment, meant that I have a right to obtain and carry any weapon of my choice, including tactical nukes. You just never know when you might need one, and besides, Bambi’s mom really isn’t all THAT easy to bring down, y’know?

I voted Republican because what the hell do all those scientists with those fancy college degrees know, anyway? I got me an indoor-outdoor thermometer that I bought down at Wal-Mart, and it don’t look all that hot to me.

I voted Republican because I need to dictate to pregnant women that they must carry their fetuses to term, no matter the risks. Once the pregnancy ends, however, I don’t care about the moms or the babies…. it’s their problem from then on out. (Oh, I almost forgot: as for criminals, FRY 'EM ALL!)

I voted Republican because free market laissez faire economics is perfect. Well, perfect for me and my family, at least, and that’s all that matters. Government only gets in the way, enforcing all sorts of regulations that hinder predatory business practices, protect consumers, and keep society safe and orderly. Besides, rich people like me need to be richer, and who cares about poor people? There’s plenty of them, anyway.

I voted Republican because I believe conservative judges need to interpret the Constitution EXACTLY the same way it was interpreted in 1789 when it was written. Slavery wasn’t all THAT bad a deal for Negroes, anyway, and why SHOULD women vote? All a woman needs to do is make my dinner and some babies, and my world will be fine!

I voted Republican because my head is so firmly planted up my butt that it is IMPOSSIBLE that I’ll ever have another point of view. God wants it that way!

you really think... that anyone with wealth in america... right now... only has it because their grandparents handed it down to them? really? my father grew up in a house of 6 kids, only his father worked, and they lived in a 2 bedroom home in north jersey in a poor italian neighborhood. he lives lavishly now, he earned a scholarship for college, and worked extremely hard to pay it back. without a stitch of help from the federal government.

IF YOU THINK FOR ONE MOMENT ITS NOT POSSIBLE TO RISE UP AND OVER ADVERSITY, YOU CLEARLY HAVE BEEN HANDED EVERYTHING TO YOU YOUR ENTIRE LIFE. NO ONE GROWS AS A PERSON BY WINNING ALL THE TIME. ITS HOW YOU REBOUND OFF LOSSES THAT MATTER. you sicken me and i feel horrible for your family and those that know you. you have a distorted sense of reality.

there's so many things wrong with that entire onslaught of left-wing loopiness that i cant even begin to break it down. go start a charity and heal the world with your philosophies on a "good man".

i voted republican because i believe my wealth is ... i voted republican because i believe my wealth is mine, and no one other than me will benefit from the taxes put on my income.

i voted republican because homosexuals are entitled to their belief's, and the next gay person i see, i will ask them if it makes a difference in their relationship that they have a title now. and true love wont care to have a title, they'll be gay and living together anyway who cares. maybe they'll fall more in love i dont know.

i voted republican because i dont really care about exxon mobil's gas prices. they are a company, not a charity. if the demand for gas is extremely high, the prices will be set higher. and im sure there's democrats that sit on their board of directors.

i voted republican because freedom of speech is great, and freedom of choice is even greater.

i voted republican because if other countries would like to be a part of our economic interests, then we have a right to interfere in their business and carry an influence. "invasion"? shut the hell up, last time we invaded anything it was iraq on september 12th.

founding fathers and nukes, thats a hippy stance on the preservation of life and whatever the hell else, i dont even know, i have no rebuttle because i dont believe it made sense to begin with.

i voted republican because i feel global warming is dead last behind mexican drug cartels, or our enemies with the capability to blow the world out of the solar system, or the ever growing cost of raw materials. buddy we'll be in civil war way before anyone has a care to waste current tax dollars fixing gloabl warming's gradual effect on earth.

i voted republican however give people the freedom of choice. pro-choice is not pro-abortion. i am for the individual deciding on their own personal circumstances.

free-market and capitalism is why we are the country we are. how is government regulations not socialism... i think every history class i had since i was like 7 taught me that. and probably should have taught you that (hey the government controls that business markets in north korea, china, and russia... just a little FYI). just because a company makes a lot of money, doesnt mean they're operating unethically. if people really cared about "the little guy"... then guess what... the "little guy" would stop shopping at walmart. the next time you see rich people in walmart will be the first time. walmart is like god's gift to the lowest tax bracket, they do you a favor, shut up already.

i believe the constitution was written assuming the influence of religion would remain in america forever. um... doesnt have to be religion, but if more people end up in jail year in and year out, clearly the citizens are acting retarded. the constitution hasnt changed.

people are too comfortable with freedom and expect bigger and better things in each generation. its a project for kids to do chores around the house or other simple things. its a lazy lifestyle americans live, and they feel they are entitled to everything just because they're american.

WRONG!!! YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO EARN EVERYTHING!! i have college loans just like the next person, is it fun i have to pay it back? hell no, but i will because i'll be better for it in the end. too many in america's lower tax bracket needs to think the same. they GIVE broke people money to go to school and NEVER have to pay it back, what more do you want?!

Wow... lots of angry little rightwingers you got here, Ms. Moore! They'll laugh with an e-mail that supports their own narrow-minded worldview, but they lash out like heck when the tables are turned around a little!

But, a side not to yet another "Anonymous": you run the risk of being drummed out of the Rightwingnut Corps (to say nothing of being condemned to her version of hell for all eternity by Ms. Moore and her ilk) if you insist that women have a right to choose.
