I Left My Dead Baby in a Toilet at George Tiller's

Before too many tears are shed for George Tiller, watch this video of a girl who was traumatized after her experience with Tiller:

Yeah, let's purge the system. Let's divert everybody's attention from the murder that was committed.

The Religious Right has found this guy guilty (even though a jury of his peers didn't do so) so don't worry about his execution.

He had it coming, didn't he?

Murdered in a Christian church by an alleged "Christian" who is being hailed in the rightwingnut blogosphere as a hero.

How demented.

Diogenes: take your hate speech against Christians over to Koz, DU and huffpo where it's welcome by all leftwing loons daily!

I don't hate Christians. I am a Christian. don't care much for people who hijack my religion and equate it with rightwing extremism.

Or are you suggesting that Scott Roeder IS a true blue Christian who deserves to be immortalized for murdering a church usher IN CHURCH on Sunday morning?

Who said Scott Roeder is a Christian?

As to Tiller, I find it rather remarkable that on Sundays he served as an usher in his church, and then Mon.-Fri. he went to work and snuffed out the lives of babies, who if born at that point in their mothers' pregnancies would more than likely survive. Unbelievable, the hypocrisy of the man and also his wife who sat in the choir singing praises to God on Sundays and enjoyed the lavish lifestyle her husband provided on his $million+ income killing babies.

Yes, abortion is legal. But, so was slavery prior to the Civil War. That certainly didn't make it right.

Maybe you don't exclusive rights on determining who's a Christian and who's not?

Maybe Scott Roeder was considered to be a Christian by those who associated with him? And, in point of fact, you probably would have, too, had you heard his words and not known what he had done. Just your kind of guy.

And there was at least one Christian community in Kansas that thought enough of Dr. Tiller to allow him to be an usher in their church. I'm sure that they didn't ask for your Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval, but that's your tough luck.

From what I've been reading about Tiller, it seems like more than a few of his patients were women whose fetuses experienced some late-term trauma that would have left them profoundly disabled had they even survived childbirth. And that they considered Tiller a Godsend.

Diogenes: give your sources to back your assertion that the Scott Roeder was a Christian or post your foolishness over at comedy central!

Oh, pleeeeeeeeeez......

What do you want, a copy of his baptismal certificate?

How about the statements of his ex-wife and his son?

http://blog.beliefnet.com/pontifications/2009/06/scott-roeders-mystery-religion.html

Roeder has ties to Operation Rescue.

More importantly, name one anti-choice advocate that ISN'T motivated by religious beliefs.

And if you're suggesting that the anti-abortion crowd isn't almost uniformly driven by a religious faith/fanaticism, then you may be more suited for Comedy Central.

Diogenes: No, but America and the world would like to see obamas baptismal certificate along with all the other personnel and historical documents that obama is hiding from the people!

People don't hide things unless they're guilty of something!

Diogenes- If you truly are a Christian you would be saying that the acts of the killer is NOT Christian! You seem more anti-Christian as you suggest the murderers acts are of Christian beliefs rather than the CHURCH he attended and accepted him regardless of what he did. His Church does not support abortion, however they did not turn him away, they still loved him and know that God loves him and accepted him as part of their church family. That is TRUE Christian beliefs and behavior. The TRUE testament of Christianity is the CHURCH acceptance. Do not make this murder about religion because obviously it is not. It was a crazy unstable person just as any other criminal! Remember his ex said he was also anti-tax..If you truly are a Christian you would know that the bible says you have to pay your taxes...

You know, that might be true of some things about some people, but that's not necessarily the case universally.

The President of the United States doesn't answer to the birther clowns. He cannot win with them, even if he produced the documents they request. Heck, he TRIED to give them what they asked for -- and they threw it back in his face, claiming that the documents were forgeries. And what "evidence" did they have that they were forgeries? The "expert analysis" of an anonymous "expert" who looked at the documents online and deemed them to be forgeries.

Face it: if Jesus himself came down and tod you that Obama was born in Hawaii and that he is a natural born citizen of the United States, you'd stil disbellieve it. Why? BECAUSE YOU DON'T WANT TO BELIEVE OBAMA.

So I wouldn't give you squat, if I were Obama. I wouldn't play your silly little games. And guess what? EVERY court, EVERY judge that's been asked to compel Obama to do so has refised. There are NO legal grounds to continue to hassle the President, but that won't stop you from trying. Nor will it shut you up, either, unfortunately.

Just know how ridiculous you sound.

Anon, your comment makes little sense, as I can't figure out who you're labelling as the "killer". The only "killer" in this sad saga is Scott Roeder. It seems as if you're saying that a "true" Christian is necessarily against abortion, so Dr. Tiller's church accepted him as a sinner without accepting his sins. That may be one explanation. Another might be that not every Christian church takes your overly narrow, overly simplistic view of the world. That is also a valid explanation, and probably a far more likely one.

Yes, Roeder's ex-wife said he was anti-tax and anti-government, for that matter. But why would that be a reason for him to murder Dr. Tiller? Did Tiller work for the government? Was he a tax collector? Be reasonable and, dare I say, thoughtful.

diagenes- It makes plenty sense, you seem to just be a very confused Christian. How do you come up with the question " does he work for the gov" from me pointing out that the bible states you must pay your taxes? the point that you missed is that THE GUNMAN WAS NOT A CHRISTIAN as you are trying to make him out to be. As a Christian the fact that he committed this crime should tell you that he isnt. Bottom line you are showing yourself to be very ant-christian and I question if you even go to church. Also, your statement of "I'm a Christian"seems to not go any further than believing in Christ" If so, no one would have to explain this to you. You would know it. So here is some advice, if you want TRUE understanding of the christian faith, their acceptance, forgiveness and love...go to church, because you seem very confused about it. ..there are a lot of people that are confused about the gospel. Anyone that could misinterpret the gunman's acts as the acts of a christ-like person is very much confused. I encourage you to go ask your pastor questions. Have a pleasant day Diogenes.

Diogenes, Every blog you write on this website is filled with such anger and cynicism. That doesn't speak well of your being a very controlled or intelligent person.

I am a Christian and will not comment upon Tiller's death except to quote from the Bible when it tells us "he that lives by the sword, dies by the sword"; yet with that being said no one had a right to kill Tiller as a means to an end. I don't personally know any Christians that would defend Roeder. Clearly this man was insane.

To catagorize all Christians or conservatives in one narrow view does not speak well of you either and shows how extremely shallow and closed minded you are.

You're childish outbursts and inane references will not change anyone's mind my friend and just make you look like a complete dumb ass.

I used to be very liberal too, but then I saw the light and became a conservative Independent. Beleive me, both major parties will try to brainwash you to get what they want, but the truth is still out there, you just have to sift through the BS from both sides until what is pure filters through.
